Custom Wasabi pony

So what is the first thing that happens when my roommate surprises me with my very first McDonald's Happy Meal pony? Starswirl got squeed over and 30 minutes later had her head ripped off, her hair ripped out, and her tail was getting cut away. It took me about 2 seconds to realize I could make another of the ponies I've designed, so here she is in all her glory: Wasabi!

She was a big learning experience as well, from making her horn (not entirely happy with that) out of sculpey and baking her (dude, she smelled like a COOKIE it was wrong) to learning how to make curls with a pot of boiling water and some ice. She turned out really great too! Note the carefully drawn sushi symbol (some of my favorites) and the chopsticks on her hoof-mark. Either the chopsticks or the surprisingly perfect curly hair is my favorite thing about her. I even managed to get her mangled rear and legs (I don't understand why mcdonalds bothered to hair their maens if they were giving them stupid plastic tails) to look fairly decent. She was a lot of fun to make anyway. Well, enjoy!
