This is an unusual piece, and very last minute. I plan on actually painting these and then they will be far lovelier and the marker version can go in scraps. The story behind these is my mom was in charge of decorating for a large fundraiser for the Joseph Sams School (www.josephsamsschool.org). She comes running up to me on the day of said event, with the news they had no signs for the bathrooms, and could I please make four very quickly (I had about thirty minutes before guests would arrive) and could it involve chickens. I get requests like this all the time. My answer? OF COURSE! And I whipped these out with some old markers lurking at my parents' house.
